City of Winnemucca Regional Planning Commission Vacancy

The City of Winnemucca currently has a vacancy for a voluntary position on the Regional Planning Commission Board. The Planning Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. If you are interested, please submit a letter of interest to Ruth Fitzpatrick, City Clerk-Treasurer, 90 W Fourth Street, Winnemucca, NV 89445. Letters of interest will be accepted until vacancy is filled.

CEMETERY MAINTENANCE I – Seasonal

The City is now accepting applications for a seasonal, part-time (up to 20 hours per week) Cemetery Maintenance I position.  This position is an FLSA Non-exempt (hourly) position ranging from $12.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience. The City is now accepting applications for part-time (up to 20 hours per week) Lifeguard I and II positions.  These positions are FLSA Non-exempt (hourly) positions ranging from $12.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience.   The position works under the general supervision of the Recreation Director and is responsible for more routine technical duties while learning operational policies and procedures.  Preference will be given to applicants who possess current certifications in Lifeguard Training, First Aid Basics, and American Red Cross Community CPR.
